Eduardo Bernal

Dr. Eduardo Bernal has dedicated his career to veterinary medicine for more than 30 years, bringing compassion, expertise, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of pets and their families. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from La Salle University in 1992. In 2004, he achieved ECFVG Certification through the American Veterinary Medical Association, further solidifying his credentials to practice in the United States.

As an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and the Broward County Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Bernal stays closely connected to the broader veterinary community. His professional interests include veterinary dentistry, an area in which he has pursued extensive continuing education. This specialized focus allows him to provide advanced care that helps pets maintain not only their health but also their comfort and quality of life.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Bernal is known for his warm personality and dedication to building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. He finds joy in being part of the unique bond of unconditional love that people share with their animals, a sentiment he describes as the most rewarding aspect of his profession. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bernal enjoys an active lifestyle. He treasures time spent with his children, family, and friends, and often seeks adventure outdoors. Cycling is one of his favorite pastimes, whether on a road bike, mountain bike, or more recently, exploring new gravel trails along the levee. At home, he shares life with his beloved Yorkie, Cooper, who embodies the joy and companionship that inspire his work every day.
