Bettina Mayer-Roenne, DVM, DACVIM
Mobile Veterinary Internal Medicine - Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist - By appointment only
Dr. Tina attended the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria, and graduated in 2002. She then went on to complete a small animal internship at the University of Cornell Veterinary School. Following the internship, she returned to Europe to work as a staff veterinarian and pursue additional education at veterinary schools. She returned to the United States for some additional work at the University of Cornell followed by acceptance into an internal medicine residency at LSU veterinary school. She received significant training during this time with ultrasound studies (abdomen and heart/thorax) as well as numerous endoscopic procedures. Following the residency, she became an official diplomat of veterinary internal medicine in 2011. Following work at an emergency and referral hospital and as a consultant through Idexx laboratories, she opened her mobile internal medicine practice in 2013. We have worked closely with Dr. Tina on cases since this time, assisting in hundreds of ultrasounds and other advanced diagnostics procedures. She has significantly increased the level of care we are able to provide at our office and can often avoid referral to a 24-hour facility in non-emergency cases.
