Sarah Evans, DVM, DACVS

Allied Veterinary Surgery - mobile veterinary surgeon (available on request on an as-needed basis)  

Dr. Sarah Evans received her Bachelor of Science degree (Sc.B.) from Brown University in 1997 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Auburn University in 2001.  She completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Tennessee and a Surgical Internship at the Hollywood Animal Hospital in south Florida.  From there she matched for a three-year Residency in Small Animal Surgery at the elite Animal Medical Center in New York City.  Following her residency, Dr. Evans returned to south Florida and passed her surgery boards in 2008.  In 2016 she headed north to her home state of Kentucky but thankfully has returned “home” to south Florida again. 

Dr. Evans spends as much time as possible with her family and at the beach in her spare time.  She will also be found volunteering to operate for local zoos and wildlife safaris and doing relief for vacationing surgeons.  She loves chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, swimming, and watching ice hockey.
